ZEISS in the United States seeks a Business Development Manager to drive market development and new opportunities in the Clinical and Diagnostic space. You will craft market strategies, identify growth areas, and enable the sales org with credible content and insights.

The role collaborates with NA Marketing Communications to shape content, campaigns, and customer engagement. A strategic thinker with strong communication and FDA-regulated industry knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related; MBA or PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales in FDA regulated or Clinical and Diagnostic spaces.
• Proven experience in content development, digital marketing, or managing web platforms.
• Strong knowledge of market, channel partners, group purchasing organizations and contracts in Clinical and Diagnostic spaces.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a matrixed global organization.

Responsabilités

• Grow qualified opportunities in NA Clinical and Diagnostic segment, by subsector and product line.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer use cases.
• Deliver market intelligence and recommended commercial actions.
• Develop differentiated positioning, value propositions, and customer-facing content.
• Engage customers and KOLs; build relationships across subsectors.
• Develop ZEISS solution ecosystems within Clinical and Diagnostic networks and GPOs.
• Produce competitive analysis reports.
• Manage expenses in line with budgets.
• Lead sales enablement initiatives and training.
• Drive Order Conversion across key subsectors.
