Job summary

Autodesk, Inc. seeks an experienced Technical Sales professional to partner with account-based sales executives and channel partners in the US.

The role is remote (home office) within the US, reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, and focuses on translating customer issues into Autodesk-based solutions. You will guide discovery, build business cases, and advance executive-level engagements across Design and Manufacturing offerings such as Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD, and Fusion Manage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters in Engineering.
• 7+ years' experience in the Engineering industry.
• Technical knowledge using Autodesk Design and Manufacturing solutions such as Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD, Fusion Manage, or similar software.
• Selling and persuasion with travel up to 50-70%.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer strategies and align Autodesk offerings to goals.
• Be the primary technology expert in account teams for planning and content.
• Build technical business cases through discovery and solution fit.
• Position Autodesk technology as an enabler for business outcomes.
• Lead discovery to uncover issues and how we help solve them.
