Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, a remote digital agency, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to own a growing book of recurring clients. You’ll retain relationships, renew contracts, and drive expansion.

Work with strategists and delivery teams to present one voice, hit a seven-figure quota on retention and upsells, and shape client outcomes. This full-time role offers remote work in the US/Canada with base plus commission.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising.
• Proven track record of keeping clients and selling more work with measurable numbers.
• Comfort carrying a quota and communicating with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Retain across your book: the relationship, the renewal and early warning when an account drifts.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• Meet a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Coordinate with strategists and delivery teams to present one clear voice to clients.
