Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, is seeking an Account Executive to drive new project opportunities in industrial refrigeration and heating solutions across the Southwest, Southern Plains, and National Accounts. You will develop account plans, build relationships with end users and engineers, manage the sales cycle from enquiry to purchase, and coordinate with engineering, lifecycle, and product teams.

Travel up to 100 nights/year; base salary with performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management in industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to communicate technically and commercially.
• Established relationships in the California market.
• Located in California or nearby West Coast.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Account Sales Plans to meet defined sales and gross margin objectives.
• Realize sales and margin targets for Vilter refrigeration and heat pump compression packages in territory.
• Build and grow relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users to encourage a preference for Vilter products and services.
• Advance Vilter’s value proposition and technical advantages through visits and industry events; travel up to 100 nights/year.
• Demonstrate ownership of the sales process from enquiry to purchase order; provide aftersales support as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date forecasts and project details in Salesforce CRM.
• Present projects and participate in weekly Opportunity Review Board meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong performance and customer experience.
• Educate customers on new technologies and industry trends with Sales, Marketing, Lifecycle Services, and Product Management.
• Operate ethically in line with policies and legal requirements.
