Job summary

Copeland is seeking an Account Executive to drive new project opportunities in the North America region. This remote role requires cultivating relationships with end users, engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders to secure opportunities in industrial refrigeration and heating solutions.

You will manage the full sales cycle, align with engineering and lifecycle teams, and travel up to 100 nights annually to customer sites and tradeshows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years account management experience in industrial refrigeration equipment (Ammonia refrigeration preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or similar field.
• Understanding of financial calculations and commercial concepts to negotiate and close opportunities.
• Self-starter with strong drive for results and business sense.
• Proficient in contract negotiations and communicating technically and commercially at all levels.
• Established relationships in the California market; located in California or nearby West Coast state.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Account Sales Plans to meet or exceed defined sales and gross margin objectives.
• Realize sales and margin targets for Vilter refrigeration and heat pump compression packages in territory.
• Build and grow relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users to encourage a preference for Vilter products and services.
• Lead opportunities from identification through execution; provide aftersales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date forecasts, project details, and competitor notes through Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure strong performance and positive customer experience.
