Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Presales Manager to lead a team of storage presales engineers across commercial, public sector and channel. You’ll blend people leadership with hands-on technical credibility, setting direction, coaching on complex opportunities, and partnering with sales and segment leadership to make HPE the storage platform of choice.

This remote/teleworker role requires residing in the Northeastern region and travel of up to 40–50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical presales experience in storage.
• 3+ years leading presales or technical teams.
• Proven track record of building pipelines and revenue.
• Experience with commercial, public sector or channel segments.
• Strong background in enterprise storage and data management.
• Experience with virtualization and at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Deep competitive knowledge of the storage market.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop presales engineers and architects.
• Set team goals aligned with storage business objectives.
• Hire and onboard top technical talent.
• Collaborate with sales, channel and segment leaders.
• Guide solution design, PoCs and competitive strategy.
• Build executive relationships with customers and partners.
• Maintain pipeline data and drive opportunities to close.
• Engage with channel partners to position and design storage solutions.
• Represent HPE at events and executive briefings.
• Coordinate transitions from sale to implementation.
