Job summary

Pearson North America Higher Education Customer Success is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics. This role partners with course-level administrators to apply pedagogical expertise and align Pearson digital products with instructors’ learning objectives and student outcomes.

The Faculty Advisor trains faculty, creates tutorials, advises on assessment and reporting, and collaborates across teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics is required.
At least 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the collegiate level in Statistics.
Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab is required.
Experience with multiple fields in Mathematics and Statistics; data science and/or engineering desirable.
Online teaching experience and LMS experience preferred.
Experience presenting at conferences and events.

Responsibilities

Partner with course-level administrators to advise on integration of Pearson digital products and implementation that will best support teaching and learning goals.
Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies; provide deep understanding and best practices knowledge instructing with MyLab.
Consult with customers on modifying or creating content.
Create department-specific training resources such as videos, guides, and live as well as recorded webinars as needed.
Consult with Productteams to advise on development of new platforms, tools, and features.
Partner with Sales in campaigns, calls and meetings, demonstrations, and other sales enablement initiatives.
Use a set of success metrics and reporting structures to provide customers as well as internal stakeholders with written documentation of the recommendations and evolution of the course design and implementation.
Requires some travel to conduct face-to-face training and implementation workshops as well as attend relevant conferences and internal meetings.
