Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate timely start-of-care visits. This fully remote US role requires quick action, clear communication, and precision to impact patient outcomes.

You will liaise between pharmacies, nurses, and patients, leveraging technology to ensure smooth coordination and staffing. As an extern-facing team member, you will maintain high levels of organization and empathy while supporting our mission to deliver home-based

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Float Health platform and supporting technology to coordinate start of care visits, including collecting information from pharmacies and patients.
• Match appropriate nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Confirm logistics and schedules with all users to ensure a safe and seamless home visit.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests as they arise.
• Communicate with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure visit documentation and related tasks are completed.
• Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Learn new processes and technology continuously and provide feedback to improve our systems.
