Talentoma is seeking a Staffing Specialist for a fully remote role based in Ohio, United States. You will review candidate inquiries, update applications, and coordinate interviews while maintaining accurate records in Lever and Google Calendar.

The position requires a 40-hour weekly commitment and strong communication with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers. Responsibilities include initial screening, scheduling, candidate summaries, and timely follow-ups to drive placement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of staffing, recruiting support, or candidate screening experience preferred.
• Familiarity with recruiting stages and screening questions.
• Experience navigating Lever and scheduling via Google Calendar.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming candidate emails, applications, and recruiter requests at shift start.
• Compare candidate experience and availability with opening needs.
• Maintain candidate profiles in Lever with screening outcomes and next steps.
• Conduct initial screening conversations using approved questions.
• Answer candidate inquiries about progress and requirements.
• Arrange interviews using scheduling tools and confirm availability.
• Prepare concise candidate summaries for recruiter review.
• Follow up on outstanding responses and interview feedback.
• Update recruiters on active applications and next steps.
• Close each shift with task review and handoff notes.
