Marqeta, Inc. is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to own full cycle hiring across Product and Technology, partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to attract exceptional talent.

This role blends flexibility to move between Product and Engineering hiring as priorities shift, in a remotely-based, Flexible First environment. The successful candidate will manage pipelines, screen engineers, and advise on market data and leveling for competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, with focus on Product and Technology/Engineering roles.
• Comfort moving between product and engineering priorities as needed.
• Working knowledge of engineering roles, tech stacks, and technical concepts for effective screening.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to understand hiring needs and build recruiting strategy for each role.
• Own full cycle recruiting for Product and Technology roles from intake through offer, with focus on candidate experience.
• Build and maintain pipelines of product, software engineering, and other technical talent, including fintech/payments experience.
• Advise hiring managers on market data, leveling, and positioning Marqeta competitively.
• Flex across disciplines taking on Product, Engineering, and adjacent technical searches as business needs evolve.
• Refine sourcing and interviewing approaches, including technical assessments and coding or system design loops.
