Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
• Experience building highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL, Spark and Kubernetes.
• Experience in financial systems, ledgering, treasury or related domains requiring data accuracy.
• Proven track record delivering major features and architecting systems.
• Comfort with ambiguity and moving from low-level code to large-system architecture.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long horizon.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics across the lifecycle.
• Act as force-multiplier by defining and advocating technical solutions.
• Own team operations and on-call readiness with monitoring and playbooks.
• Set code review standards and promote quality beyond the team.
