Job summary

Omni is seeking a Staff Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to lead technical engagements across the Solutions Engineering org, guiding strategic evaluations and shaping the product direction based on field experience.

In this remote role, you will partner with sales leadership, run discovery, demos, and POCs, mentor engineers, and support customers from initial inquiry through implementation, with a focus on modern data stacks and enterprise analytics.

Qualifications

10+ years of pre-sales business intelligence experience and enterprise solutions engineering.
Deep expertise with the modern data stack including cloud data warehouses and transformation tools.
Proven track record leading technical discovery, demos, and POCs with senior stakeholders.
Experience mentoring or leading other Solutions Engineers and shaping team practices.
Strong SQL skills for analytics and data manipulation.
Exceptional, consultative communication across technical and executive audiences.
Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Mode, or Sisense.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales leadership to provide technical expertise on strategic opportunities.
Lead technical discovery, demos, and POCs for complex evaluations.
Mentor Solutions Engineers and shape best practices across the team.
Collaborate with Product to influence roadmap based on field patterns.
Represent the Solutions Engineering org in executive-level discussions.
Smoothly transition trials into customers by coordinating with post-sales teams.
