Job summary

Omni is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to be a trusted technical expert across the sales lifecycle, owning the technical side of deals, building shared plans with Account Executives, and leading complex evaluations on each prospect's data and environment.

You will mentor other SEs, influence product direction with field feedback, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure successful trials and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in pre-sales for BI or data analytics with enterprise customers.
• Deep knowledge of the modern data stack and cloud data warehouses.
• Strong SQL skills used for analytics.
• Excellent client-facing, consultative communication.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker is a plus.
• Experience at high-growth startups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical expertise in the sales process and beyond, helping uncover and prove out use cases to showcase the value of the Omni platform.
• Build and present Proofs of Concept in the Omni Platform as part of the evaluation process, while enabling prospective customers on how to successfully use Omni on their data.
• Smoothly transition trials into successful customers, by partnering with post-sales teams, and engaging with our partners to plan for ongoing support where needed.
• Collaborate extensively with Product, Design, and Engineering to provide user feedback and guide product direction.
