Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a remote Staff Software Engineer, Mobile to set technical strategy, oversee app infrastructure, and advocate for quality standards while mentoring team members in a full-time salaried position.

You will lead the mobile platform in collaboration with product and design, drive large initiatives, and codify testing and observability best practices to ensure performance and reliability across React Native apps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in developing and architecting mobile applications.
• 4+ years using React Native.
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript; hands-on with React Native and Expo.
• Experience with mobile testing and observability tooling, including E2E frameworks and crash reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
