Job summary

Affirm is hiring a seasoned mobile engineering lead to shape the React Native stack across the team. You will guide architecture, tooling choices, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust mobile features on the Affirm platform.

You will mentor engineers, drive code quality, and advocate for scalable solutions while balancing business impact and delivery timelines. This remote-first role supports mobility across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience building and architecting mobile apps with 7+ years in development.
• 4+ years with React Native and hands-on native module work.
• Strong JS/TS, modern RN tooling, and testing/observability knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long horizon.
• Collaborate across product, design and analytics to ensure sustainability and risk management.
• Define and advocate technical solutions and operational processes.
• Own team operations, monitoring, and on-call readiness.
