Qualified attorneys in good standing with 1+ years of litigation experience are invited to apply; strong MS Office skills and the ability to manage a 100–200 case caseload are essential. Early-morning hearings and ET hours required.

Qualifications

• Bar Admission: Active license in good standing in any U.S. state.
• Litigation experience: 1+ years of recent litigation experience (preferred).
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; able to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
• Caseload Management: Capable of handling a high-volume caseload (100–200 cases) concurrently.
• Remote Work Skills: Established home workspace, reliable Wi-Fi, familiarity with virtual tools (Teams, Outlook).
• Schedule Flexibility: Willing to work early morning hearings within Eastern Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume caseload of 100–200 special education claims, ensuring timely and effective handling.
• Represent the agency in administrative hearings, pre-hearing conferences, and settlement negotiations.
• Navigate federal and state education laws in the administrative process.
• Prepare and review filings, agreements, and reports with accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide guidance on compliance with hearing orders.
• Support training for field staff on education-law compliance.
