Qualifications

• Bar admission active and in good standing in any U.S. state.
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent litigation experience; more is preferred.
• Ability to manage 100–200 cases concurrently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable with virtual tools.
• Willingness to work across Eastern Time and early hearings.

Responsibilities

• Case Management: Manage a high-volume caseload of 100–200 special education claims.
• Representation: Prepare for and/or litigate complex cases at administrative hearings and settlements.
• Administrative Process: Navigate federal/state education laws and regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare and review filings, agreements, and reports with accuracy.
• Settlement Negotiation: Work with parents and counsel to reach fair resolutions including fees.
• Training and Collaboration: Coordinate with specialists and attorneys; train field staff on compliance with laws.
• Research and Compliance: Analyze case law and advise on compliance obligations.
