Job summary

SMX is seeking a Mid-Level Site Reliability Engineer to architect, automate, and operate high-performance cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads. You will serve as a customer-facing SME, translating challenges into scalable architectures across various cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in SRE/DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes and container networking experience.
• Cloud design, deployment and IAM across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud; IaC tooling.
• Automation using Python, Bash, or Go; security baselines familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate scalable AI/ML cloud platforms.
• Engage with customer stakeholders as SME to scope and demo solutions.
• Drive Terraform/GitOps automation with security guardrails from day one.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, perform on-call and post-incident reviews.
