Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager – Specialty Urology to be the face of SMPA to customers. You will drive growth across assigned accounts, leveraging clinical expertise, market knowledge, and strategic planning.

The role requires extensive travel (60–80%), a strong sales track record, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Base salary ranges and comprehensive rewards are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field with two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven, top-tier sales performance (ideally top 25% nationally).
• Experience working within Urology.
• Experience with a pharmaceutical launch.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, pull-through and push-through.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep and meaningful business relationships with customers.
• Increase market share by closing new business in key accounts.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise and market insights.
• Assess and analyze product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
• Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required.
