Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to represent SMPA to our customers across the United States. This is a remote-ready, full-time role where you will own a territory, build deeply clinical relationships, and drive growth in oncology, urology, women's health, and related disease areas.

You will travel 60–80% of the time, manage accounts, analyze trends, and collaborate across teams to deliver compliant, evidence‑based solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with proven top-ranked performance.
• Experience in Urology and with a pharmaceutical launch preferred.
• Knowledge of formulary positioning and market access concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned territory.
• Establish deep and meaningful clinical relationships.
• Increase market share by closing new business in prioritized accounts.
• Support sales results with clinical expertise and market insights.
• Assess product/competitor trends and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with team members and ensure compliant operations.
• Travel 60–80% of the time, including overnights when needed.
