Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma seeks a dynamic Territory Sales Manager – Specialty to represent SMPA across the U.S. You will build deep relationships with healthcare providers, prioritize new and existing accounts, and drive market growth in oncology, urology, women's health, rare diseases and CNS.

The role requires expert clinical and market knowledge, the ability to travel within the territory (60–80%), and a track record of top sales performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area; two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proven top-ranked sales performance (ideally top 25% nationwide).
• Experience in Urology.
• Experience with a pharmaceutical launch.
• Knowledge of market access formulary positioning, pull-through/push-through.

Responsibilities

• Establish deep and meaningful business relationships with customers.
• Increase market share by closing new business in key accounts.
• Support sales with clinical expertise, market dynamics, and compliant practices.
• Assess product/competitor trends and provide strategic insights.
• Collaborate with team members through candid, constructive communication.
• Travel throughout the territory; overnight stays may be required.
