Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a remote Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and support prescription processing. This role requires both state and national licensure and a background in pharmacy support or healthcare.

The position operates primarily 6am CST to 7pm CDT, Monday through Friday, with competitive benefits. Responsibilities include patient data capture, contacting doctors for information, and assisting with prior authorizations while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• National and state CPhT and/or registration/licensure required.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Hours: 8am–7pm Mon–Thu; 8am–6pm Fri.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance, billing).
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and document prescriptions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and high ethical standards.
