Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is hiring a remote Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients, translate prescription information, and assist with prior authorizations. The role requires national and state CPhT licensure, as well as 2+ years in pharmacy support or a healthcare setting. Work hours align with CST/CDT schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• National and state CPhT licensure/registration required.
• Hours of operation are 8am to 7pm Monday through Thursday and 8am to 6pm on Friday.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance, and billing information).
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and document prescription set-up.
• Comply with all applicable federal and state laws and high ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
