Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, powered by Navitus, is seeking a remote Intake Specialist I for our specialty pharmacy team. The role focuses on enrolling new patients, translating prescription data, and coordinating with providers and insurance for prior authorizations.

A valid state and national CPhT licensure is required, with licensure visible on the resume. Monday–Friday schedule; remote role with a nationwide scope.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some college preferred.
• National and state CPhT and/or registration/licensure required and visible on your resume.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Hours of operation may vary; 8am to 7pm Mon–Thu and 8am to 6pm Fri.
• Commitment to compliance program objectives.
• The ability to work cooperatively with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management and billing information.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage the assigned workflow queues.
• Document information and prescription order setup accurately.
• Comply with all applicable federal and state laws and high ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
