Lumicera Health Services is hiring a remote Intake Specialist I to enroll new specialty pharmacy patients and ensure that all pertinent patient information—demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities and payer details—is accurately captured in the record.

The role requires national and state CPhT licensure, and typically involves placing calls to patients and providers, translating prescription data into the dispensing system, and assisting with prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPhT licensure (state and national) required on resume.
• Some college experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll new specialty pharmacy patients and ensure records include demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities and payer details.
• Place calls to patients and providers; translate prescription information into dispensing software.
• Assist with prior authorizations and provide documentation of prescription orders.
