Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking an Intake Specialist I in its Specialty Pharmacy to enroll new patients and ensure complete demographics, allergies, medication history, and payer details are captured in the record. You will place calls to patients and doctors, translate prescription information for dispensing, and assist providers and insurers with prior authorizations as needed.

This role supports other areas as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Hours of operation: 8am–7pm Mon–Thu and 8am–6pm Fri.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management, copay assistance, and billing information.
• Assist providers and insurance companies in triaging prior authorizations and support pharmacy operations.
