Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, powered by Navitus, seeks an Intake Specialist I for its Specialty Pharmacy. You will enroll new patients, translate prescription data, and maintain accurate patient records to support dispensing and care coordination.

The role involves calling patients and doctors, triaging prior authorizations, and collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per employee’s residing state’s requirements.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Ability to work scheduled hours. Hours may vary: 8am–7pm (Mon–Thu) and 8am–6pm (Fri).

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance, billing).
• Assist providers and insurers with prior authorizations.
• Translate prescription information for dispensing in pharmacy software.
