Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and manage patient information across records. You will translate prescription data for dispensing software and support triaging prior authorizations.

This role emphasizes accuracy, communication with doctors, and adherence to regulatory standards. The position supports the specialty pharmacy team, with remote work options indicated, and requires experience in pharmacy support or healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• National CPhT registration or state licensure may be required.
• Minimum two years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work varying hours (8am–7pm; 8am–6pm on Friday).
• Adherence to compliance and ethical standards; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance, billing).
• Answer inbound calls from patients and prescribers.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and documentation.
• Verify information and assist with prescription entry in dispensing software.
• Assist other areas as needed and maintain compliance.
