Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, powered by Navitus, seeks an Intake Specialist I for the specialty pharmacy team. The role focuses on enrolling new patients, gathering complete demographic and payer information, and ensuring accurate data entry into the dispensing system.

The position emphasizes calling patients and providers, coordinating communications via phone and fax, and assisting with prior authorization triage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per employee’s residing state’s requirements.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Hours of operation are 8am to 7pm Monday thru Thursday and 8am to 6pm on Friday.

Responsibilities

• Place phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services which may include patient care management, copay assistance programs, and billing information.
• Translate prescription information and all other information obtained to dispense the medication into the dispensing software.
• Assist providers and insurance companies in triaging prior authorizations for patients.
