Lumicera Health Services is seeking an Intake Specialist I for our Specialty Pharmacy to enroll new patients and ensure complete patient records. You will contact patients and providers via phone/fax and translate prescription information for dispensing in our system.

The role includes triaging prior authorizations, supporting pharmacy operations, and collaborating across departments. Remote work is available for residents of multiple states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• National CPhT licensure/registration per state requirements.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience.
• Hours of operation: 8am–7pm (Mon-Thu) and 8am–6pm (Fri).

Responsabilités

• Place phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance programs, billing information).
• Translate prescription information for dispensing into the pharmacy system.
• Assist providers and insurers with prior authorizations for patients.
• Support other areas in the facility with pharmacy technician duties as needed.
