Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients, collect demographics, allergies, and payer information, and coordinate communication with doctors and patients. The role emphasizes accurate data entry into dispensing software and support across pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include making calls to patients, enrolling them in services, and assisting with prior authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Hours: 8am–7pm Mon-Thu and 8am–6pm Fri; shifts may vary.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay, billing).
• Translate prescription information for dispensing system.
• Assist providers and insurers with prior authorizations as needed.
