Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a remote Intake Specialist I for our Specialty Pharmacy team. You will enroll new patients, translate prescription information, and assist with prior authorizations, operating mainly Mon–Fri with early morning hours.

Licensure (national and state CPhT) is required and resume must show it. This role supports patient care, payer information gathering, and accurate record keeping in our dispensing software while collaborating with pharmacists and providers to

Qualifications

• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• National and state CPhT and/or registration/licensure required and visible on your resume.
• Ability to work scheduled hours. Shifts may vary; 8am–7pm Mon–Thu and 8am–6pm Fri.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance, billing).
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and document prescription order setup thoroughly.
• Comply with all applicable laws and company ethics standards.
