Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is expanding its remote Intake Specialist I team to support our specialty pharmacy patients. This role involves enrolling new patients, ensuring complete records—demographics, allergies, medication history, payer information—and handling prescription translation for dispensing software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• National and state CPhT registration/licensure required and visible on resume.
• Two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management and billing info.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information for prescriptions.
• Manage workflow queues and document information and orders accurately.
• Comply with federal and state laws and maintain ethical standards.
