Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, powered by Navitus, is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and manage patient records, demographics, allergies, medication history, payer details, and related data.

The role involves calling patients and providers, translating prescription information for dispensing, and assisting with prior authorizations. Remote work is available for residents of select states.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• National CPhT certification or state-specific registration/licensure required.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure all pertinent information is in the record.
• Place phone calls to patients, doctors and insurers via fax or phone.
• Translate prescription information for dispensing in the pharmacy software.
• Assist providers and insurers with triaging prior authorizations as needed.
• Perform pharmacy technician duties as needed across departments.
