Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, powered by Navitus, seeks an Intake Specialist I for the Specialty Pharmacy. The role centers on enrolling new patients, collecting comprehensive demographics, allergies, history, and payer details to ensure accurate records for dispensing.

Responsibilities include calling patients, coordinating with doctors and insurers, and supporting other areas as needed. Remote work is available for eligible states, including Florida.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state living requirements.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Hours: 8am–7pm Mon–Thu and 8am–6pm Fri; shifts may vary.

Responsibilities

• Place phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay assistance programs, and billing information).
• Translate prescription information into dispensing data for the pharmacy system.
• Assist providers and insurers with triaging prior authorizations for patients.
