Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Patient Engagement Specialist to support outbound refill calls and guide patients through the refill process. The role collaborates with pharmacists, clinicians, and payors to resolve coverage and fulfillment issues while maintaining confidentiality and high service levels.

The position is remote with ET zone alignment, requiring Spanish and English fluency, a national pharmacy technician certification, and flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience adjudicating claims.
• Experience managing refills and working with clinical care teams.
• Remote work experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate medication refills including data entry and claim adjudication.
• Make outbound patient refill calls and complete refill requests.
• Answer, resolve and triage inbound inquiries from patients and providers.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacist or clinician when needed.
• Identify medications requiring special storage or handling (hazardous/refrigerated).
• Maintain and update data using database tools and Excel spreadsheets.
• Support process improvements and quality standards across operations.
