Remote position with preference for Phoenix or Stoughton metro areas, involving coordination of refills, data entry, and collaboration with pharmacists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician with state registration; CPhT preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to assist patients telephonically.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy claim processes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively coordinate medication refills including data entry and claim adjudication.
• Make outbound patient refill calls and complete refill requests.
• Answer, resolve and triage inbound inquiries.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacist or clinician as appropriate.
• Identify medications requiring special storage or handling.
• Manage and update data using database applications.
• Participate in process improvements and drive quality/customer service.
