Qualifications

• Requires state registration as a pharmacy technician; national certification (CPhT) preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year experience; 5–8 years preferred in healthcare settings.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, compassionate assistance to patients, providers, and pharmacy staff.
• Make outbound patient refill calls and process refill requests promptly.
• Answer and triage inbound inquiries and clarify orders with pharmacists.
• Coordinate medication refills, enter data, and ensure correct days supply.
• Assist with claim adjudication, troubleshooting, and rejection codes.
