Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Refill Technician to support pharmacy staff and liaisons by ensuring accurate and timely refill processing, data entry, and patient communication. The role includes outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, coordinating meds, and documenting activities across systems.

The ideal candidate is a state-registered pharmacy technician (CPhT preferred), with 1+ year experience, HS diploma or GED, and strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer

Qualifications

• Requires state registration as a pharmacy technician; national certification (CPhT) preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year experience; 5–8 years preferred in healthcare settings.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Provide courteous, compassionate assistance to patients, providers, and pharmacy staff.
• Make outbound patient refill calls and process refill requests promptly.
• Answer and triage inbound inquiries and clarify orders with pharmacists.
• Coordinate medication refills, enter data, and ensure correct days supply.
• Assist with claim adjudication, troubleshooting, and rejection codes.
