Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a retail pharmacy.
• Knowledge of Medicare Part D, pharmacy record review, claims, billing and reimbursement rules.
• HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and CMS security requirements.
• Medicare Part B and Part D coverage guidelines and payment methodologies.
• Bilingual preferred and National Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to prescription refill requests via phone, email, fax, and Telephone Encounter.
• Verify validity and accuracy of refill requests per regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and dispense refills following protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Track KPIs related to refill processing and report trends to leadership.
• Maintain productivity and quality metrics.
• Support clinicians and managers on special projects and reports.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize workflow and patient care.
