Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a bid and solution design professional to translate customer needs into tailored, value‑driven delivery proposals. You will lead cross‑functional teams, map customer journeys, and ensure the proposed solution aligns with business drivers and the client’s objectives.

You will work with stakeholders from bid teams and external partners to design end‑to‑end offerings, manage risks, and help transition to implementation while maintaining a focus on cost efficiency and measurable

Qualifications

• Demonstrable service design experience—capturing existing customer journeys and leading the re-imagination of future journeys via workshops.
• Experience identifying how technology can improve customer experience and increase value for money and the documentation of functional technology requirements.
• Public Sector bidding experience in Employability, Health, Justice or Contact Centre environments.
• Proven ability working with key bid team and wider solution workstream stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Builds an understanding of the market and bid opportunity to develop a tailored solution.
• Leads and manages a matrix solution team to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned with strategy.
• Manages customer expectations and coordinates bid workstreams with standard or bespoke offerings.
