MAXIMUS is seeking a senior bid and solution design professional to lead end-to-end proposals for complex public sector engagements. You will shape market understanding, craft tailored, costed delivery solutions, and coordinate with operations and SMEs to meet client objectives.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, governance, and effective handover to delivery teams, with a focus on affordability, lean processes, and leveraging technology to drive business value.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable service design experience—capturing journeys and reimagining future journeys via facilitated workshops.
• Experience identifying how technology can improve customer experience and value.
• Public sector bidding experience in Employability, Health, Justice, or Contact Centre environments.
• Proven ability to work with bid teams and wider solution workstreams.
• Ability to analyse existing services and operating models to design more effective delivery.

Responsibilities

• Builds understanding of market and bid opportunities to tailor solutions.
• Leads end-to-end solution design aligning with client objectives and affordability targets.
• Manages stakeholder engagement and co-design with partners/suppliers.
• Ensures a lean, efficient process with strong governance and risk management.
• Collaborates with technical leads to place AI/tech at the heart of solutions.
