SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Engineer - Enterprise to collaborate with account teams, assess customer data center environments, and design tailored infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives.

This remote role is based in the Minneapolis, MN area and requires building relationships with OEMs and partners, training sales teams and customers, and managing the solution pipeline to identify technology opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and

Qualifications

• Experience in complex Data Center sales opportunities.
• Ability to design data center infrastructures including hybrid cloud, SDDC, infrastructure-as-a-service, automation, and data center management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, software-defined data center, containerization, and automation.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs and articulating value.
• Expertise with main technologies: Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, Nutanix.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and High Availability solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with customers' business objectives.
• Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners, staying updated on product information.
• Provide product training and technical education to the sales team and customers.
• Act as a trusted IT advisor for customers and manage the solution practice pipeline for top prospects.
• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs to ensure comprehensive account management.
