Job summary

SHI International Corp. is looking for a Solutions Engineer – Enterprise to design infrastructure solutions for clients. The role requires collaboration with account teams and building relationships with technology partners, primarily in the data center and cloud sectors. This remote position aims for candidates in the Grand Rapids, MI area.

The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience, knowledge of various mainstream technologies, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to understand data center environments.
• Design tailored infrastructure solutions based on customer needs.
• Build relationships with OEMs and provide product training.

Skills

Experience in complex Data Center sales opportunities

Designing hybrid cloud and software-defined data center infrastructures

Knowledge of virtualisation and automation technologies

Ability to sell complex technical products

Expertise in Dell, NetApp, HPE, Cisco technologies

Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
