Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a passionate Solutions Engineer to join our DevOps‑focused team. You will be the trusted technical advisor to customers, delivering demos and POCs for Idira solutions and helping secure machine identities across pipelines and cloud‑native apps.

You will collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to position, demonstrate, and evaluate Idira solutions, staying ahead of industry trends and traveling as needed to meet customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role in cybersecurity or DevOps tooling.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, or autonomous AI workflows.
• Development experience in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js; scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and modern non-human authentication approaches (SPIFFE/SPIRE).
• Ability to distill technical concepts into business value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations for Idira technology.
• Conduct POC evaluations with prospective customers, positioning Idira’s value.
• Act as technical expert for machine identity security during the sales cycle.
• Partner with Account Executives to articulate value to technical and business stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand environments, challenges, and goals.
• Translate requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with product management and R&D to influence direction and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on DevOps trends, Agentic AI, and best practices.
• Deliver workshops, webinars, and training; assist marketing to generate pipeline.
• Travel as needed for customer meetings, conferences, or on-site workshops.
