Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is hiring a Domain Consultant to join our DevOps Domain Consulting team. You will be the trusted technical advisor to customers, focusing on application-level and agentic AI secrets management.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to position Idira solutions, secure machine identities, and drive value across DevOps pipelines and hybrid environments. Remote work is supported with distributed teams globally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering role in cybersecurity/DevOps.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.).
• Understanding of SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSMs.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, or autonomous AI workflows to optimize processes.
• Languages: Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Scripting: PowerShell or Bash.
• Ability to work with REST APIs.
• Curiosity about the DevOps landscape and industry trends.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration, prompts, or AI agent integration in development lifecycles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling RFIs/RFPs and distilling technical concepts to business value.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations to create excitement around Idira technology.
• Conduct POC evaluations of Idira products with prospective customers; position value to win.
• Act as the technical expert and trusted advisor for machine identity security solutions during the sales cycle.
• Partner with Account Executives to articulate the value of Idira’s solutions to stakeholders.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand environments, challenges, and goals.
• Translate customer requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with product management and R&D to influence direction and resolve issues.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging DevOps tools, CI/CD, Agentic AI, best practices.
• Assist in marketing efforts to generate pipeline and leads.
• Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions to clients and internal teams.
• Travel as needed to meet customers, attend conferences, or conduct on-site workshops.
