Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant Manager to lead a District Solutions Consulting team, guiding customers on deploying our platform to detect and prevent cyber threats. You will mentor a technical team and collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, and Product teams to deliver value.

You will travel 50-75% within the region and act as a technical leader across on‑premises, cloud, and security operations services, shaping solutions for large enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pre‑sales System Engineer Manager.
• Experience as a Senior System Engineer/Specialist.
• Industry knowledge of security product market trends and directional awareness of roadmap/tech development.
• Knowledge of delivering comprehensive security solutions to Palo Alto Networks customers.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Quota‑driven, client‑focused advisory mindset.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire new Solutions Consultants into the territory.
• Train, mentor, and review employees on the team.
• Support field Solutions Consultant team in complex evaluations and challenging environments.
• Lead technical validation efforts to ensure technical win in opportunities.
• Define, create and monitor individual development plans for the team.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams for implementation and adoption.
• Provide effective technical leadership in customer interactions and share security trends.
• Drive Platformization efforts within accounts.
• Work with Domain Specialist Manager to optimize resource use.
• Act as escalation point with pre‑ and post‑sales teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers as references.
• Present as an expert to customers at all levels.
• Discuss competitor products and position Palo Alto Networks as best alternative.
• Work with Product Management/Tech Marketing/R&D to build requirements and feedback.
• Travel 50‑75% within the region.
• Develop technical strategy with sales counterpart to accelerate growth.
