Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant to align customer needs with our on-prem, cloud, and security operations offerings. You will lead technical guidance, craft high-level designs, and drive value realization during the customer journey.

The role requires 6+ years in pre-sales/sales engineering, strong cybersecurity know-how, and excellent English communication. Travel may be required, and you will work with cross-functional teams to win opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE.
• Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives is preferred.
• Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience is ideal.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Field sales role with possible travel; discuss specifics with recruiter.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions.
• Position, demonstrate and create high level designs across the PANW portfolio to create business value.
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform, building relationships for increased productivity, security and flexibility.
• Conduct discovery to understand key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to ensure implementation and adoption of solutions.
• Lead technical validation efforts to ensure technical win in opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to support a cohesive strategy.
• Promote end-to-end solutions with services to realize value sooner.
• Differentiate PANW's leadership in cybersecurity.
• Develop technical and professional skills; participate in industry events.
