Job summary

ePlus Technology, inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect for service provider engagements. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, aligning with an Account Executive to assess customer networks and define future-state designs across MPLS, SR‑MPLS, EVPN, DWDM, and ROADMs.

The role emphasizes deep routing and optical expertise, customer presentations, BOM creation, SOW drafting, and pre‑sales support. Remote-friendly with Midwest preference and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in telecommunications or service provider engineering.
• Strong background in optical networking technologies (DWDM, OTN, ROADMs).
• Experience drafting SOWs and engaging in 1:1 account alignment with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical credibility to the account team on designated focus areas.
• Conduct customer presentations on ePlus value proposition and technical solution sets.
• Assist sales in account planning and opportunity development from a technical perspective.
• Assist with project management for complex presales engagements.
• Develop solution architectures and BOMs for proposals and engagements.
• Draft technical sections of SOWs and support post‑sale implementations.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
