Job summary

ePlus Technology, inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect for Service Provider engagements. This remote role supports Midwest-focused customers and partners, focusing on SR-MPLS, EVPN, and DWDM with strong BGP/MPLS/IS-IS/OSPF protocol knowledge.

The candidate will work with an Account Executive to design future-state networks, prepare BOMs, and draft SOWs for professional services. Strong pre-sales capabilities and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in telecommunications or service provider engineering.
• Strong background in optical networking technologies and pre-sales.
• Experience drafting SOWs and collaborating with Account Executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical credibility to account teams and present solutions to customers.
• Capture customer requirements, perform technical scoping, and draft BOMs.
• Develop architecture designs, perform OEM/platform selection, and create SOW content.
• Coordinate with field OEM sales/technical teams and mentor junior team members.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
