Job summary
ePlus Technology, inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect focused on service providers to design, present, and formalize complex network solutions. You will partner with an Account Executive to analyze customer networks and craft future-state designs using SR-MPLS, EVPN, DWDM, and ROADMs.
You’ll lead technical scoping, draft SOWs, and coordinate with OEMs and professional services to close high-value opportunities. Remote role with Midwest preference and travel expectations.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with high-end routing platforms (or similar OEM equipment).
- Strong background in optical networking tech: DWDM, OTN, ROADMs.
- Deep protocol knowledge: BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, EVPN.
- Experience drafting SOWs and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Minimum 5+ years in telecom or service provider engineering roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical credibility to the account team on designated focus area.
- Lead customer presentations on ePlus value proposition and solutions.
- Assist account managers with technical aspects of opportunity development.
- Support project management for complex presales engagements.
- Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses for assigned accounts.
- Draft SOWs with technical scope and validate against customer requirements.
- Develop detailed BOMs and architecture designs for proposals.
- Coordinate with OEM sales and field teams on solution alignment.
